World Chess Body Refuses to Hold Tourney in Berlin

The International Chess Union by a vote of ten to three today rejected a proposal to hold its next tournament in Berlin, expressing regret that the German Chess Union had introduced the “Aryan” paragraph. Recently the international body rejected a membership application by the German group.
