The Chief Rabbinate of Palestine has proclaimed this coming Sunday, September 14, as a day of fast and prayers throughout Palestine, for the salvation of European Jewry and victory for the Allies.
Chief Rabbi Herzog of Palestine has joined with Chief Rabbi Herts of England in requesting that this day of prayer and fasting be observed all over the world. A call to this effect has gone out to American Jews.
