Members of the Young Men’s Christian Association are warned against joining the Silver Shirts and similar organizations in the current issue of the National Council Bulletin issued by the Y.M.C.A.
“Silver Shirts and other anti-Semitic movements have no place in Y.M.C.A.’s,” the Bulletin declares. “Many young men who join these societies know little of what they are joining. We hope Y.M.C.As.’ own positions will be unequivocal and that they will help to combat the mad prejudice upon which most organizations of this sort feed.”
