Yeshiva College Day was celebrated in the twenty-three synagogues of the Council of Young Israel in New York and in other synagogues throughout the country.

Work and progress of Yeshiva College was discussed during the Saturday sermons delivered by Moses H. Hoenig, national president, and members of the college alumni group.

Georg Davidsohn, an intimate of Wagner, was the first advocate of his productions in the Berlin press and was later one of the founders of the Berlin Wagnerverein.
