Rumanig’s Yiddish State Theater, in the capital city of Bucharest, celebrated this weekend its 15th anniversary, according to reports received here today.
The company boasts a repertory of works by contemporary Jewish playwrights in Rumania, Israel and other countries as well as Jewish classics and plays from the Rumanian, Russian, American and British stage, performed in Yiddish translation.
