The first all-Yiddish talking picture program will have its premiere tonight at the Yiddish Folks Theatre. Feature film is the Worldkino production of Sholom Aleichem’s “Menachem Mendel.” Added attractions include a behind-the-scenes view of an examination to which aspirants to membership in the Hebrew Astors’ Union must submit before acceptance, and Yosl Cutler’s Yiddish Marionettes.
