Young Israeli Musician Offered Top Australian Post

Moshe Atzmon, a 36-year-old Israeli conductor, was offered today the positions of musical director of the Australian Broadcasting Commission and conductor of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Atzmon, who is now in London, indicated he was ready to spend up to six months a year here in these posts.
