Justice William S. Evans of the City Court announced that the Supreme Council of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, of which he is president, has awarded a scholarship amounting to $100 to a student at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, for the coming year. The award was made as a result of a meeting of representatives from various fraternities and Jewish youth organizations held in the office of Harold Riegelman, past president of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, to discuss the question of scholarships for needy students at the University.

In addition to the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, representatives of Phi Epsilon Pi, Sigma Alpha Mu, Alpha Epsilon Pi, Phi Alpha, Alpha Eta Phi, Kappa Nu, Alpha Eta Phi, and Iota Theta Law Fraternity were present at the meeting. Mr. Riegelman, who was formerly president of the Inter-Fraternity Council of America also issued invitations to Young Israel, Young Judaea, and the Menorah and Avukah Organizations who sent delegates to the meeting.
