After long and careful consideration of all the facts in the matter the Zionist Executive announced tonight that the 17th World Zionist Congress would be held as scheduled on February 24th in Carlsbad, Czecho-Slovakia.
The forthcoming Congress is expected to be the most significant and important since the War because it will have to take a stand on the Zionist attitude toward the British government and elect a new president in view of Dr. Chaim Weizmann’s resignation. Zionists throughout the world are already making plans for the Congress and arranging for the election of delegates. The parties within the Zionist Organization have already organized an extensive campaign to elect their delegates.
