Glazer was known for his support of Israeli universities, including Tel Aviv University and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and for his friendships with Israeli Prime Ministers David Ben-Gurion, Golda Meir, Yitzhak Rabin and Benjamin Netanyahu.
