Jassy University Discovers Jews Lack Scholarship

Four hundred students from Bessarabia, practically all Jews, have seen expelled from the University on the ground that their Russian matriculation certificates fell below the qualifications recquired for entrance into Roumanian universities. This is understood to be the first step towards the fulfilment of Minister of Education Anghelescu’s recent statement regarding a thorough revision of all students’ entrance certificates.
