A suggestion that it would be highly desirable for Jews to have a representation as Jews in the League of Nations Union was made here by Sir Willoughby Dickinson, chairman of the Minorities Commission of the League of Nations.
Such a representation would be invaluable in safeguarding the rights of Jewry throughout the world, Sir Willoughby said.
The British government, he added, is always seeking as far as possible to upheld the rights of Jews without discriminations. The Minorities Commission of the League, he said, is well acquainted with the oppressive steps against Jews in various countries and as far as it is in its power will seek to curb them.
