The Young People’s League of the United Synagogue has decided to organize a service to which will be invited the College students in the community, and the Jewish youth in general, (those above eighteen) and the soldiers and sailors who are in New York during the High Holy Days.

A committee has been formed which is getting in touch with the various colleges, the Jewish Welfare Board, and the soldiers’ and sailors’ organizations, to inform them of the service and to extend them an invitation to be present.

The services will be held at the Congregation B’nai Jeshurun, which is offering for the purpose the use of its Community House, 580 West End Avenue.

Rabbi Israel Goldstein is president of the Young People’s League of the United Synagogue, and rabbi of B’nai Jeshurun.
