The “Daily Express” reports that King Hussein of the Redjaz has directed his representative in London to negotiate with Great Britain with a view to granting Palestine a constitutional government.

The King was officially reported to have agreed to the draft of a treaty concerning the Arab States which recognized the present status of the Palestine government. He is understood to have altered his stand, however, because of the vigorous opposition of the Palestine Arabs to the treaty.
