Leading Zionists of Poland including Deputy Gruenbaum, the head of the Zionist opposition at the Carlsbad Congress, are vehement in their denunciation of High Commissioner Samuel’s plan for an Arab Agency in Palestine.

Declaring himself to be “categorically” against any such proposal, Deputy Gruenbaum said this offer to the Arabs renders opposition to the British Government “unavoidable”.

Senator Thon characterized the proposal as “illogical, impracticable and inconsistent”. Similarly, Dr. Reich and Rabbi Farbstein expressed themselves in principle against the proposal although they preferred to see what action the Zionist Executive would take.

The Zionist representatives have left for London to attend the meeting of the Greater Actions Committee there.
