Following conferences of Dr. Leo Bramson and Dr. A. Singalowsky, representing the European “Ort” association with Colonel Herbert Lehman, Dr. Joseph Rosen and Dr. B. Kahn of the Joint Distribution Committee, an appropriation of $25,000 was made by the “Joint” for the “Ort’s” work in Poland, Lithuania and Roumania.
The “Ort” delegates who arrived here recently have been conferring also with the heads of the People’s Relief Organization which with the aid of the American “Ort” has pledged its assistance in the raising of the million dollar reconstruction fund the “Ort” world conference launched in Danzig last summer.
