Mohamed al Chatig, Sheik of a Beduoin tribe, was found murdered last night, near the Jewish colony Hedera. Two Jewish watchmen of the colony, Roitman and Frank, have been arrested and are being held for investigation.
At the request of the colony committee, they were later released under bail of 400 pounds each. Both suspected watchmen were inside the colony when the murder was committed, according to the testimony of some of the residents.
