Sir Herbert Samuel, High Commissioned for Palestine, postponed his departure for Amman for next week. He is entertaining Prince Arthur of Connaught, the King’s cousin, who will stay in Palestine for a whole month.

Sir Herbert Samuel will tonight give a reception in the Government House to Prince Arthur of Connaught who is returning to London after his retirement as Governor General in South Africa. Heads of all communities and many notables will attend.

Numerous delegations have already left Palestine for Amman to attend the Arab Conference there. King Hussein of Hejjas has arrived in Amman yesterday.

The Arab press which was so actively propagandizing the Caliphate for King Hussein has suddenly become reticent on the subject.
