General Weygand, French army chieftain, is on his way to Amman, where he is expected to confer with King Hussein of Hedjas concerning the position of Syria in the Pan-Arabic Confederation. Sir Herbert Samuel, British High Commissioner of Palestine, has returned to the capitol after a visit to Hussein.

All participants in the recent uprising against Sultan Edwan have been pardoned by King Hussein, who will proceed within the next few days to Shuna, the summer residence of his son, Emir Abdullah. The Palestine delegations will meet Hussein there to discuss the question of including Palestine in the Pan-Arabic Confederation.
