The Emigration Conference called by the International Labor Bureau of the League of Nations opened here today. Representatives of twelve central emigration organization are participating, including the Jewish Colonization Association represented by Mr. Janowsky and the Jewish Emigration Directorate represented by Mr. Janowsky and the Jewish Emigration Directorate represented by S. Tiomkin and Z. Aberson. The representatives of the Jewish organizations have brought considerable data with them of the deplorable conditions of the Jewish refugees in Eastern Europe and in various ports of Western Europe, which they have placed before the Conference. The reports have made a deep impression upon the international conference, and it is expected that constructive measures will be taken.
