News Brief

That the conversion of Hans Herzl to Catholicism may have been an act of spite work against the Zionists was disclosed here, in well-informed circles. It was made known that Hans Herzl had a controversy recently with the Zionist Organization concerning financial matters in connection with the proposed publication of his translation of his father’s Diary from German into English. He also demanded for his work a huge sum of money which could not be granted him. Young Herzl was consequently piqued.
