The Anniversary of the Signing of the Armistice will be the occasion of a celebration at the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn. N. Y., on Tuesday evening. November 11, at 8:15 o’clock. The oration will be delivered by Hon. Bainbridge Colby, Secretary of State under President Wilson.
Mernorial exercises for Mrs. Solomon Schechter, wife of the late President of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, will be held next Thursday evening at Temple Ansche Chesed, Seventh Avenue and 114th Street, under the auspices of the Women’s League of the United Syngagoue, New York City branch, which Mrs. Schechter founded.
Temple Beth Emeth, of Albany, New York, has donated to the Hebrew Union College Library at Cincinnati, the Rabbi Max Schlesinger Memorial Libary.
