A campaign to raise $150.000 for the purpose of erecting a Jewish Center was started at a banquet in the auditorium of the B’nai Amoona Synagogue. Prominent city officials addressed the meeting. Seventy-five teams were organized for the campaign. The chairman of the committee is Mr. Louis G. Olian.
