The audience which was to be granted by King George to Rabbi A. I. Cook, Chief Rabbi of Palestine, could not take place because of the King’s absence from the Bucking-ham Palace.

Rabbi Cook was received today by the new British Colonial Secretary, Rt. Hon. Leopold Amery. Rabbi Cook is leaving for Palestine today.
