The British gendarmerie in Palestine will be demobilized, according to an official statement made known here.
The Palestine gendarmerie will be reorganized. The Jewish members of it will be transferred to the police force, while the Arabs and Circassians will form the Palestine and Transjordania frontier force. The Arabs will remain in the service in Palestine, while the Circassians will serve in Transjordania.
