South Dakota Accepts United Jewish Campaign Quota

Samuel Fantle was elected state chairman for the United Jewish Campaign in South Dakota, at the state conference held here.

The quota of $50,000 was accepted for the state.

David A. Brown addressed the conference.

H. WOLBERG, MANAGER, “JEWISH DAILY NEWS,” DIES

H. Wolberg, business manager of the “Jewish Daily News,” died yesterday morning, following an illness of several weeks.

Mr. Wolberg was the manager of the paper for over 30 years.

The funeral will take place today from 125 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, N. Y.

At a dinner given by Clarence H. Mackay for the Belgian Ambassador and the Baroness de Cartier de Marchienue, Efrem Zimbalist was among the enlertamers.
