Half of Texas’ quota of $350,000 in the United Jewish Campaign has already been raised, according to Arthur Adams. field representative, who spoke at a meeting here launching Fort Worth’s drive.
Fifteen thousand dollars of Fort Worth’s quota of $25,000 in the United Jewish Campaign was raised at the meeting.
Rabbi Henry Cohen of Galveston, was the principal speaker.
The stirring appeal of Rabbi H. Merfeld and the report of Mr. Adams, brought about an unprecedented enthusiasm. U. M. Simon is chairman of the local campaign.
