For the first time in the history of Roumania, a Jew was appointed a member of the Roumanian cabinet today.

Mr. Yaruslavitch, a Roumanian Jew, was appointed vice-minister of Trade. Mr. Yaruslavitch, who is a member of the assimilationist group, has not identified himself with Jewish communal activities in Roumania.
