Jewish Sabbath Alliance Protests Against Hakoah Soccer Game on Saturday

A protest against the proposed game of the Hakoah, the Jewish soccer team scheduled for Saturday, was issued by the Jewish Sabbath Alliance of America, following an executive meeting.

It is the aim of the Alliance not only to protest against the proposed game on the Sabbath Day through the newspapers, but also to appeal to every Jewish society and synagogue in the city to protest against this. Each rabbi is requested to bring this matter to the attention of their synagogue, executive committee stated.

Lawrence Rosenthal, a junior in the University of Illinois, at Champaign, Ill., was elected president of the Hillel Foundation of the University of Illinois, in the recent election ### and the other officers named, will serve during the coming academic year, beginning in the fall. Raymond Solomon was named vice-president; Florence Koenigsberg, secretary, and William Levy, treasurer. All are junior ### men.

Judge Eli Frank of Baltimore, Md, has been named to fill one of six vacancies on the board of trustees of the Johns Hopkins University.
