The question of delay of wireless messages from Jerusalem to London was raised in the House of Commons today, when Commander J.M. Kenworthy asked the Postmaster-General if he was aware of complaints of delays in w-ireless press messages sent via Egypradio from London to Jerusalem, some of. them taking 25 to 30 hours before delivery; what were the causes of the delays, and whether steps had been taken to improve the service.
Viscount Wolmer, the Assistant Postmaster-General, replied: “I am not aware of any recent complaint of excessive delay in press telegraphic messages between London and Jerusalem. If the member will furnish me with particulars of cases he has in mind I will have them investigated and inform him of the result.”
