Rikabi Pasha’s agreement to open Transjordania to the Zionists is one of the charges directed against the Pasha by the “Ittiat Al Arab,” a Moslem newspaper published at Tul Kerem.

Among the ten charges against Rikabi Pasha the following are published by the newspaper: (1) his “prayers”, five times a day at the Chief British Representative’s offices; (2) declaration of dictatorship and weakening of the power of the Emir Abdullah and authorship of the slogan. “There is place for one Emir in Transjordan, and he is Rikabi”; (3) his efforts to secure the annexation of Transjordan to Palestine, abolition of the Arab Legion and dismissal of the Transiordan Minister of Justice because he refused to approve the immigration laws and Rutenberg undertakings: (4) approval of the Rutenberg scheme; and (5) his agreement to open up Transjordania to the Zionists.

Dr. Max Alexander Novey has been appointed obstetrician in the Child Welfare Bureau of the Baltimore City Health Department. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the Johns Hopkins Medical School.
