Solomon C. Kraus or Philadelphia was reelected Grand Master of the Independent Order B’rith Sholem at the close of the twenty-first annual convention of the Order here.
Martin O. Levy of Philadelphia was reclected Grand Secretary. Other officers elected were Adolph Rosenblum. Philadelphia, assistant secretary and Jacob Edelstein. Philadelphia, treasurer.
The Texas Zionist Association met in Houston for their twentieth annual convention, Over one hundred delegates attended. An increased interest in Zionism was reported from the various districts.
Rabbi Morris N. Taxon of Dallas, was elected president. The convention next year will meet in Waco.
