The Italian Federation of Authors presented a gold badge to the popular Jewish publicist and novelist of Trieste, Madame Ida Finzi, who is widely known in Italy under her pen name, Haydee. on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of her literary activity.

Madame Finzi, who is a native of Trieste, began her work as publicist in the Trieste Italian press and took a prominent part in the Italian irredentist movement there. She has also written a number of very popular novels.
