Mandates and Minorities Will Be Up at Congress of League of Nations Societies

The protection of minorities, mandates, the equitable treatment of foreigners, emigration. various aspects of education. disarmament, the international aspect of the coal industry, and the abolition of slavery, are among the subjects to be discussed at the annual congress of the International Federation of League of Nations Societies which meets at Aberystwyth on June 29th.

The United States Delegation is to be headed by Mr. Theodore Marburg, formerly Ambassador in Brussels. Dr. Dumba, during the war Ambassador in Washington of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, is to represent the Austrian Republic.

The British League of Nations Union is sending a delegation which includes the Lord Bishop of St. Davids. Mr. David Davies. M.P.. Professor C. K. Webster of Aberystwyth University, the Rt. Hon. G. N. Barnes. Mr. ?orman Angell. Professor Gilbert Murray, Sir Willoughby Dickinson. Sir Arthur Haworth. the Viscountess Gladstone. Mr. T.F. Lister Chairman of the British Legion. and Vice-Admiral S. R. Drury-Lowe.
