(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

A Lithuanian counterfeiting plot, modelled after the Hungarian counterfeiting plot, the proceeds of which were to be used for anti-Semitic propaganda and acts of terror, was discovered here by the police.

The central organization of the conspirators, who intended to initiate a Fascisti movement with pointed anti-Semitic and terroristic features, was raided. Several of the leaders were arrested, the rest managed to escape to Poland.

It was found that the organization intended to carry out a number of assassinations of leaders of the democratic movement in Lithuania. The plans of the conspirators were hastened with the coming into power of the new liberal government.
