Abdullah to Proclaim Transjordania Independent Territory

Extensive changes will be introduced into the Transjordanian Government, according to advices received here from Amman. Aref Al Aref, the new Civil Adviser, is to take over the Ministry of the Interior, which is to be abolished in its present form, and will be placed directly under the orders of the Premier. There will be a Financial Adviser, Mr. Kirkbride, one of the British Representatives in Transjordania having already been appointed, and a judicial Adviser, Judge Seton. A British Inspector of the Trausjordanian Customs will also be appointed, while other appointments of British officials are to the place in the Posts and Telegraphs Department and the Department of Education, it was stated.

Emir Abdullah, ruler of Transjordania will soon publish a proclamation in which he declares that Transjor dania is an independent territory, are that the Emirate is hereditary. The Constitution is shortly to be published, and will provide for a Parliamentary Assembly.
