Ten Chalutzim Released from Jail in Roumania

Ten young Chalutzim from Poland, who were sentenced to eighteen months imprisonment for crossing the Roumania? frontier without passports, were released yesterday by an order of the War Ministry.

The request to release these Chalutzim was presented to the Ministry by the Jewish community of Czernowitz. The ten Chalutzim have served fifteen months of their term.
