A new departure in the development of the Liberal Jewish movement in England was marked here when the Liberal Jewish Synagogue anounced today that it has instituted Sunday services.

This step, which introduces for the first time in London Sunday services at a Jewish synagogue, is in consonance with the radical tendency of the Liberal Jewish movement in this country and its leader Mr. Claude Montefiore.

Rabbi Israel Mattuck, Rabbi of the Liberal Jewish Synagogue, has prepared three volumes of prayer books to be used in the services of his synagogue. The prayers include poems by Browning, Shelley, Keats and Tennyson.
