The delegates to the Mizrachi Convention visited Arlington Cemetery to lay a wreath on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Rabbi Louis Novick, president of the Convention Committee, laid the wreath, and Rabbi A. Mandelbaum of Albany delivered a eulogy. The delegates also paid a visit to Washington’s home at Mount Vernon.

The Ladies’ Mizrachi Organization was formed here today at a special meeting of the women delegates attended by fifty-four women. It was decided that the first activities of this organization would be devoted to collecting funds for public institutions in which the traditions of Judaism will be observed.
