Arthur Schnitzler, famous Austrian-Jewish novelist, refused to visit Hungary because of the anti-Jewish attitude prevalent in that country.
Mr. Schnitzler was invited to deliver a series of lectures in Budapest. Rejecting the invitation, Schnitzler declared that he is unwilling, on principle, to hold lectures in Budapest.
