Pupils of the Roumanian high school and commercoal school at Lipove held an anti-Jewish demonstration last Wednesday, according to a report of the newspaper, “Diminiazu.” The demonstrants threw stones at the synagogue and Jewish houses. The police restored order.
The Jewish Roumanian weekly “Curierul Israelite” was confiscated for publishing articles concerning the murder of David Falik.
