The troupe of the Habima, the Moscow Hebrew Art Theatre, will sail for the United States on November 27.

It was learned today that the delay in the troupe’s departure for the United States was caused by the refusal of the American Consul in Hamburg to issue visas to the members of the troupe in view of the fact that the Consul received anonymous information that the Habima was a Communist troupe and is in close contact with the Soviets. It was necessary for the members of the Habima to convince the consulate that the information was false before visas would be issued. In the meantime, the steamer on which they were scheduled to sail, left.
