Delphiner to Enlarge Silk Factory in Tel Aviv

Max Delphiner, well known Austrian Jewish silk manufacturer, will leave for Palestine this month.

It was stated that the purpose of Mr. Delphiner’s journey is to enlarge his silk factory in Tel Aviv.

The International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union, through President Morris Sigman and Vice President Julius Hochman, have virtually agreed upon a settlement with the Wholesale Dress Manufacturers’ Association, the ?obbers, as a result of negotiations for an agreement to replace the one which expired Dec. 31.

The contractors working for the jobbers employ 12## dressmakers. The settlement provides for a renewal of the agreement and offers ## contracting shops.
