Homes of Jewish Labor Leaders in Warsaw Raided

Many arrests were made in the homes of Jewish labor leaders in connection with raids carried on by the Warsaw police on persons suspected of Communism.

It was stated that the police discovered the headquarters of a Communist organization operating in the districts of Vilna, Wolyn, Bialystok and Posen. Three Sejm deputies. White Russians, were among the 200 suspected persons arrested. It was also stated that the police succeeded in arresting members of the control committee of an alleged Jewish ### of the communist party. Comm###### in Polish and in Yiddish was said to have been found.

The house of Alter Kacyrna, Yiddish ### and photographic correspondent of the Jewish daily “Forward” of New York, was among those raided. Mr. Kazyzna was not arrested. Raids were also made on the homes of several other Yiddish writers.
