Professor Albert Einstein has accepted the post of honorary president of the Committee to Foster Jewish Music in Palestine.

The Committee was formed at a gathering held at the home of Dr. Bernard Kahn, European Director of the Joint Distribution Committee. Professor David Schor, professor at the Moscow Academy of Music, who arrived here on his way to Palestine, urged the formation of the Committee in Germany for the promotion of Jewish music in Palestine, at the meeting held last month. Professor Schor stated that the town of Tel-Aviv has presented a site for a “House of Music.”
