The mystery of the murder of Walter Rathenau, German Jewish statesman and Minister of Foreign Affairs who was killed by anti-Semites, may be explained soon as a result of an inquiry conducted by the German Government.

Eric von Ludendorff, German war lord and leader of the anti-Semitic forces in the after-war period, and Herr Ehrhardt are under suspicion of having instigated the assassination.

This was revealed today on the authority of the state attorney in the sensational trial of several officers of the Black Reichswehr which is taking place in Giessem. The state attorney declared that an inquiry is being made.
