Roumania will never agree to the appointment of a Commission, such as is proposed by the American Jewish Congress, composed of Jewish and non-Jewish personages, to investigate the position of the Jewish population in Roumania, says the “Universul” here in an article published today. “No Roumanian,” it declares, “will agree to such a humiliation of the Roumanian people and such a denial of the sovereignty of the Roumanian State.”
