Ben Braunstein, a first-year student at the Jewish Institute of Religion in New York, has been awarded a fellowship by the National Council of Religion in Higher Education.
The National Council of Religion in Higher Education, with headquarters in Ithaca, is a non-sectarian organization for the promotion of interest in religious education research. It is headed by Jeremiah Jenks, President, Cleveland Dodge, Treasurer, and Richard H. Edwards, Executive Director.
The announcement that Mr. Braunstein had received the national award was made by officials of the Institute.
Mr. Braunstein, who received his B.S. from Ohio State University last year, will do research work in “Biblical History and Literature”.
