Solomon Gurevitch, son of a Jewish merchant, was executed yesterday on the charge that he attempted to assassinate Bucharin and Stalin on March 12. Gurevitch was one of a group of twenty who were executed following the official proclamation of the Ogpu, the present name of the ill-famed Cheka, announcing the revival of the Red Terror in Russia.
