The Charkoff Yiddish Communist organ “Stern” publishes an article calling for a renewal of the campaign against the Jewish small bourgeoisie, and especially the Nepmen. All over the Ukraine hundreds of Jewish shop-keepers and traders have been prosecuted because they failed to reduce their prices on the stated day. In many cases their stock-in-trade has been confiscated.
